Parking in Amsterdam

Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam Amstel has its own underground parking garage with 131 parking spaces. This parking garage is available for hotel guests, restaurants and meeting rooms. There are two disabled parking spaces. Want to charge your electric car? You can do so at one of our six charging stations. From the parking garage you can take the elevator directly to the other floors. The room floors can only be reached with a key card.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to reserve a parking space in advance. This means that parking is based on availability.

Please note that the entry height of our underground parking garage is 2.10 meters. The entrance to the parking garage is located on the left side of the hotel.

Parking rates

• Hourly rate: €4

• Daily rate: €25

You can pay the parking fee at reception or at the barrier. Any discounts must be settled in advance and cannot be corrected afterwards.

If you have visited Restaurant Amstelle, Bar Moqum and/or Buffet 't IJ, you will receive the first 3 hours of parking for free upon presentation of your voucher at reception. We have different rules for large groups.

Street parking | Paid parking applies on the street from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00. You pay €5 per hour. We advise you to take valuables out of your car.

Would you like to bring your own bike to our hotel? Then you can park them free of charge in our parking garage at -1. Bicycles use the same entrance and exit as cars. You can also choose to place your bike in one of the bike racks next to the hotel. These are facilitated by the City of Amsterdam.

Charging an electric car

At Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam Amstel we value sustainability and the convenience of our guests. For that reason, you can always come to us to charge your electric car. Our modern charging stations ensure that your car is ready in no time.

Our parking garage has 6 parking spaces with charging stations, you will find them immediately upon entering at -1 on your right.

The chargers are from Allego. This company is not affiliated with any specific charging pass provider, which means you can go with any charging pass. The charging capacity is 3.7 kW to 22 kW.
