Van der Valk Amsterdam-Amstel reopens as of 6 May

Because of the coronavirus COVID-19, Van der Valk Amsterdam-Amstel is taking appropriate measures. Until the 6th of May the hotel will be open in phases for our business guests. From the 6th of May the hotel will be open again for both business and leisure guests. The restaurant will be available for hotel guests. We will take appropriate measures for this. Read the possibilities below:

Rooms available again
To start with, 4 floors in the hotel will be opened first. You can make the reservation here or you can do this by sending an email to reserveringen@valk.amsterdam.com or calling us: +31(0)20 800 11 00

Food & Drinks
Naturally, we follow the RIVM guidelines and the measures taken by the government. As a result, the restaurant will remain closed to external guests until at least 20 May. However, the restaurant will be open to hotel guests from 6 May.

Until this time we offer our hotel guests the possibility to order breakfast, lunch and dinner via room service. Click here for the possibilities.

Fancy a snack? In our lobby shop we sell different kinds of biscuits and sweets, savoury snacks and various drinks.

Workplace
For people who can no longer work in the office, we have the ideal solution: hotel work. The luxurious meeting rooms have been transformed into ideal workplaces. Check out the possibilities and costs here.

Facilities
The wellness, Gym Adam and swimming pool are closed until 20 May. The health of our hotel guests is number 1 at all times and in order to guarantee this the hotel facilities are temporarily unavailable.

General hygiene measures
In order to guarantee the health of our hotel guests, various measures have also been taken in the public areas. For example, remote columns have been placed at the reception and we have taken extra hygiene measures:

  • We ask you to pay without contact in order to guarantee your health.
  • Disinfecting handles are available at various places in the hotel
  • Employees are aware of the measures and extra hygiene instructions are instructed
  • The cleaning of common areas such as the lobby, elevator, stairs, doors and toilets takes place more frequently.
  • The hotel rooms are thoroughly cleaned for a stay
